Ashna is a Humphrey Fellow at Michigan State University from Suriname - South America

She is the founder and CEO of Foundation Young Help Suriname, a foundation empowering youth

(ages 15 -36) to develop project development and execution skills through practice, building self-confidence to trigger leadership traits, personal success, help entrepreneurial dreams come true and contribute to the community.

She will present an introduction on her country Suriname and discuss effective leadership in today's globalized world.
